This Privacy Policy describes how the Band of Gold Parent Association, Inc. ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information through the Band of Gold website (miamicoralparkband.com). By using this site, you agree to the practices described below.

1. Who We Are

The Band of Gold Parent Association, Inc. is a Florida Not For Profit Corporation supporting the Miami Coral Park Senior High School Band of Gold (EIN: 27-2033100). This website is operated by the Booster Club on behalf of the band program.

2. Information We Collect

We collect only what is necessary to operate the site:

• Contact form submissions — if you use the "Send us a message" form, we collect your name, email address, and message. This information is sent directly to the Booster Club and is not stored on this website.
• Session data — if you log into the admin panel, a temporary session token is stored in your browser's localStorage. This token expires within 24 hours and is used only to maintain your logged-in state. It is not a cookie and is not transmitted to any third party.

We do not collect payment information. Any donations made through Zeffy are handled entirely by that platform under their own privacy policy.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To respond to messages you send through the contact form
• To authenticate authorized administrators of this website

We do not use your information for marketing, advertising, or any purpose beyond the above.

4. Information We Do Not Collect

This website does not use tracking cookies, advertising pixels, or analytics services. We do not collect IP addresses, device identifiers, or browsing behavior. We do not sell, rent, or share any personal information with third parties.

5. Third-Party Services

This site uses the following third-party services, each governed by their own privacy policies:

• Google Calendar API — used to display upcoming events from the band's public Google Calendar. No personal user data is sent to Google through this site.
• Cloudinary — used to store and serve images uploaded by administrators. Only administrators with login access can upload images.
• Cloudflare — this site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare may process request metadata (such as IP addresses) as part of delivering the site. See Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.
• Google Fonts — fonts used on this site are loaded from Google's servers. Google may log font requests. See Google's Privacy Policy.

6. Children's Privacy

This website is operated by a school booster club and may be viewed by minors. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The only personal data submitted through this site comes through the voluntary contact form, which is intended for adults (parents, alumni, sponsors). If you believe a child has submitted personal information through this site, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

7. Data Retention

Contact form messages are retained only as long as needed to respond to your inquiry. Admin session tokens expire within 24 hours and are automatically deleted from our database. We do not maintain long-term records of personal data submitted through this site.

8. Your Rights

You may request that we delete any personal information you have submitted through this site. To do so, contact us using the information below. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
